First launch in the US
First of all, this will be launched for American users. After this, there will be a global launch. On this platform, users will be able to watch live and recorded shows. Publishers will also be able to share their own shows in the news feed. Watchlist features will be provided to the users to watch the show. Users will have to subscribe to the new show shown here. Users will be given a watch button like TV in the Facebook navigation bar. Facebook claims that users on this platform will be able to watch video shows in thousands.
According to Business Insider, the watch platform will start in the US tomorrow. Origin shows can begin on August 28. It is being told that this video show will be divided into section categories. These will include ‘Most Talked About’, ‘What’s Making People Laugh’ and ‘What Friends Are Watching’ etc. Users will also be given baseball games.
The watch was launched in the US last year with the goal of giving a platform to users where they can find shows and video creators. Also, communication between creators and users can be established. In June, Facebook announced that the company will launch new shows to bring the creators and users closer, including features such as poles and quizzes. Facebook Watch has informed that these services will support the content of other local languages other than English content.
Facebook has laid out certain conditions for making money through videos. In order to qualify, the creators must make at least three minutes of video, which should have 10,000 followers, more than 30,000 plus minutes watched within a two-month deadline or complete Facebook’s Monetization Eligibility standards.
